Shoreline Sightseeing has created a package for you to see Chicago and its attractions the most scenic way. The package is also time efficient! Whether you’re busy or have a lot of free time on your hands, this package provides a great city experience at a low cost.
What Does it Include?
For a price of $68.95 per adult and $31.22 for children (3 through 12) the All Ports Pass includes:
– One Architecture River Tour Ticket
– One Skyline Lake Cruise Ticket
– One Two Day Water Taxi Pass
Children under 2 years old and under ride for free. However, please make sure to include them in your ticket count. You can do this when purchasing tickets at the ticket booth or online. This is important for us to monitor capacity.
Architecture River Tour
Our Chicago Architecture River Tour is a 75 minute tour on the Chicago River. 401 N. Michigan Avenue is the first location as an option to depart from. Navy Pier, 124 N. Streeter Drive is another option for customers to disembark from for convenience.
A full service bar is available to all customers on the lower deck. You are welcome to go up and down as early and as often as you’d like! The bartender can serve you margaritas, bloody mary’s, or mimosas just to highlight a few drinks on our menu! You can find the heads, also known as the restrooms, on the lower deck.
When riding on the river, one of our professional docents will guide you throughout Chicago. You’ll learn the different styles of architecture, building names and their purposes, fun facts of the city, and more! The docents know how to make sure you’re having a good time but also leaving you to walk away with more knowledge! That is their specialty, knowing how to make learning fun!
The architecture tour in Chicago with us is a great way to learn a lot about the city in 75 minutes and if a favorite of travelers and Chicago natives!
Skyline Lake Cruise
The Skyline Lake Cruise is a 45 minute excursion on Chicago’s Lake Michigan. The cruise departs from its only location, Navy Pier, 600 E Grand Ave, which is right across from the Navy Pier’s McDonalds. Or you can look for the people in bright orange polos, that’s us and we’ll guide you in the right direction!
This cruise is a great photo op to capture the Chicago skyline! A bar is on board serving canned beer, wine, seltzers, soda, water, and some small snacks such as chips and pretzels. Feel free to bring any beverage purchased from the pier on as well! You can locate the restrooms on the lower deck of the vessel near the back.
A recording of one of our professional docents plays giving interesting facts of what you can see while underway. Once the cruise comes to an end, you can then explore the convenience of being close to Chicago’s Navy Pier Attractions and events! Two Day Water Taxi Pass
Our water taxis are a great service to get you around the city without having to face traffic! We have five different stops at your convenience next to some of the top Chicago’s tourist attractions. Our Shoreline Water Taxi service runs on lakeside and as well as riverside.
On the lakeside, the first dock, Navy Pier offers a variety of activities, attractions, and dining options for people of all ages. We stop at Buckingham Fountain which is between Grant Park and Millennium Park. Its a great opportunity for a photo op and also a good drop off location on the Lakefront Trail for a stroll. The last stop is Museum Campus, home to the Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Adler Planetarium, and fun eats!
On the riverside you can start at any of our docks. Navy Pier being our first, you can ask any of our greeters in orange to point you in the right direction. From there, we head to Michigan Avenue also known as the Magnificent Mile. You can explore the luxury shopping scene, the Chicago Riverwalk, dining, Art Institute, or the Museum of Ice Cream! At our last stop, Willis Tower, you can visit SkyDeck!
How to Upgrade Your Ticket
If you already purchased an Architecture Tour, take your ticket to our ticket booth and pay the difference. Having already purchased the Architecture Tour ticket, the upcharge for adults is $19.00 and $4.27 for children. With this price you get the additional Skyline Lake Cruise ticket and the Two Day Water Taxi Pass.

Can I still upgrade to the All Ports Pass if I purchased a Skyline Lake Cruise ticket?
Yes! if you have purchased our Skyline Lake Cruise, head to our booth and you can still upgrade to the All Ports Pass. The additional total is $34.00 per adult and $14.27 for children. With this price you get the Architecture River Tour ticket and the Two Day Water Taxi Pass.
Do you offer any Chicago Fireworks Cruises?
Yes! Shoreline Sightseeing offers two options to view Navy Piers Firework show. You can choose to watch on our Skyline Lake Firework Cruise for $45.95 for an adult and $23.95. Or you can watch on our Architecture River Tour for $54.95 per adult and $31.95 per child 3 through 12.
Although keep in mind, Firework Cruises are not an option to put in your All Ports Pass Package. They are only available to purchase separately as it is a special cruise. You can purchase online or at one of our ticket booths. The fireworks viewing boats are of high demand, we recommend purchasing ahead of time!
