WATER TAXI SERVICE

Spend more time on the water – and less time stuck in traffic – with our Water Taxi service! Our Shoreline Water Taxi service begins in May and runs through September, with additional service throughout the spring, fall and for special events. All Water Taxi service is weather dependent. Please note that our water taxis are not wheelchair accessible and that some of the docks are not at street level (such as Union Station), so passengers will need to be able to climb stairs.
Water taxi routes
Serves Navy Pier Polk Bros Park, Michigan Avenue and Willis (Sears) Tower/Union Station.
This route connecting Navy Pier Dock Street with the Museum Campus (Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum and Adler Planetarium) offers impressive views of the skyline and is walking distance to Soldier Field and Northerly Island.

Taxis departs every 20-30 minutes, weather and customer traffic permitting All locations only accepts debit and credit cards; no cash is exchanged at this location.
Lake Taxi and full river route (Navy pier to Union Station/Willis Tower)
Monday-Thursday: $10 adults, $5 children.
Michigan Ave. to Navy Pier or Union Station/Willis Tower
Every day: $6 adults, $3 children.
