Navy Pier’s Winter WonderFest returns! The holiday celebration has not seen the pier since pre covid so this is year we are thrilled to welcome back all of the fun it bring to the pier! The fest is filled with thrilling rides such as Zero Gravity and the Cliffhanger for those a little older and a kiddie train with bumper cars for the younger ones. They even have enough space to fit an ice rink and even more! You have to come check out the exciting and festive fest that takes place inside so there’s no need to worry about being outside for too long! Every Winter WonderFest at Navy Pier ticket comes with a ride on the Centennial Wheel.

Fireworks Return for the Holidays
Chicago’s beloved summer firework show is returning for the holiday season. This weekend, November 29, the Navy Pier fireworks are scheduled to go off at 8pm. If you can’t make it out this weekend, the holiday fireworks are set every Saturday until December 27th! The free firework show has been voted as the “best place to see fireworks” in the USA Today 10 Best Readers’ Choice Travel Awards for the past three years!
All Aboard the Holiday Express
Starting December 5th, add a touch of cheer to your holiday travels between Michigan Avenue and Navy Pier aboard our water taxi service. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday the Holiday Express will shuttle you to and from both locations between 12pm to 6pm in December. Taking you right to Navy Pier’s Winter WonderFest, the Centennial Wheel, our 30-minute Skyline Lake cruises, and our special Hot Chocolate Cruises.
Hot Chocolate Cruises
Our Classic Skyline Lake Cruise will transform at night for our Hot Chocolate Cruises with holiday music and complimentary hot chocolate from December 5th throughout December 28th. Enjoy the festive atmosphere and Chicago’s skyline aboard our evening departures at 5:00, 6:00, and 7:00pm, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in December.
Holiday Fun at Pioneer Court
Our friends at Pioneer Court are bringing the festive atmosphere once again this December! Passport to Santa is a fun holiday pop-up for the kids to collect stamps from completing fun activities to get to Santa. Each stop, kids will meet Christmas characters at the games and challenges. At the end of all the fun and games, Santa himself will be waiting to meet you with special prizes and a photo!
