River and Lake Routes
Here at Shoreline Sightseeing, our water taxi service runs on both the Chicago River and Lake Michigan.
The River route consists of stops at Navy Pier (located on the river side of Navy Pier,) Michigan Avenue, and the Willis Tower
The Lake route consists of stops at Navy Pier (located on the lake side of Navy Pier, Buckingham Fountain, and Museum Campus.
There are many sights to see, activities for the kids, places to eat and shop at nearby all of our stops!
Fast and On Schedule
The water taxis run at your convenience! Weather permitting, we run daily and frequently. They run between every 20 to 30 minutes. Here you can find our taxi schedule and frequency to plan ahead, please keep in mind some minor changes can occur due to weather and water conditions, please be sure to confirm at one of our ticket booths!
Affordable Fares
We have affordable one ways to get you to your destination quick. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the views on your way to your destination. We also have day passes if you find yourself needing to utilize our taxis more than once and to see what some of our stops have to offer! With the day pass, you get access to all of our docks, both on the lake and river. Day passes are valid for 24 hours!

A great plus if you take our water taxi is that you get to the enjoy the views that the city has to offer! Hopping on a taxi on our lake route will give you that postcard view of Chicago. While taking our river route will take you along the main branch of the river and to the south branch if you decide to make your way to our Willis Tower stop!
