Step aboard Shoreline’s classic Cap Streeter and embrace the holiday magic with a special meet-and-greet with Santa! Located on Michigan Avenue, this festive pop-up offers a chance for a keepsake photo with Santa, perfect for creating lasting memories with family and friends.
After your visit with Santa, treat yourself to a festive drink from the bar and unwind by a cozy fireplace, all while soaking in breathtaking city views and the Chicago River.
While advance tickets are encouraged, walk-ins are welcome, subject to availability. Don’t miss this unique holiday experience!
A fun detail is that the boat will remain docked, so it’s more about the ambiance and less about the cruise. Keep in mind that there is no re-entry once you leave the boat. Please note this boat is not wheelchair accessible.

Holiday Express Water Taxi
During this special time, we will exclusively operate our Holiday Express Taxi Saturdays and Sundays shuttling passengers between Navy Pier, Michigan Avenue and Union Station/Willis Tower for a seamless holiday shopping experience on the Magnificent Mile, a visit with Shoreline’s North Pole to enjoy the Light Up the Lake event and other holiday festivities at Navy Pier.
Tickets can be purchased at our Shoreline Sightseeing ticket booths on Michigan Avenue, Navy Pier and 200 South Wacker.
