Come celebrate the 6th Annual Chicago Craft Beer Week as Shoreline Sightseeing kicks off its Brew Cruise season featuring the fine craft beers of Revolution Brewing. The evening will include beer samplings of Revolution’s carefully created craft beers, food, special live DJ entertainment and a 90-minute Chicago River cruise complete with spectacular views. Cruise will depart from Shoreline’s dock at Polk Bros Park at the southwest corner of Navy Pier at 8 p.m., returning at 9:30 p.m. Boarding will begin at 7:45 p.m. Cash bar also available.

The evening will feature a traditional German dinner prepared and served by the staff of Paulina Market paired with some wonderful Oktoberfest brews sponsored by Leinenkugel & Revolution Brewing. Passengers will also enjoy classic Oktoberfest atmosphere including the Shoreline Fraulein bartenders with a souvenir Oktoberfest stein and the Euro-Express band providing live music and dancing. Festivities will take place on a starlit, two-hour cruise on Chicago’s waterways. A cash bar will be available. Shoreline Sightseeing is tapping into the autumn season with a Hard Cider Tasting Cruise. For this inaugural event, we will be joined by representatives from Vander Mill Ciders, The Northman / Uncle John’s Cider and Artisanal Imports who will each provide a few of their favorite ciders for the season. These skilled craftsmen will also be providing a brief tutorial about the flavors and distinct characteristics of each cider to enhance your cider repertoire. Additionally, the cider tasting will be accompanied by custom-paired appetizers designed to bring out the distinctive flavor of each cider variety. This 90-minute tour will take place as you enjoy the world class Chicago skyline while cruising Lake Michigan aboard the climate controlled charter vessel Celebration. A cash bar will also be available.

The Cider Cruise will depart from Shoreline’s dock at Polk Bros Park at the southwest corner of Navy Pier at 7:30 p.m., returning at 9 p.m. Boarding will begin at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $39 per person. (Must be 21.)

Shoreline Sightseeing’s St. Patrick’s Day Lunch Cruises include traditional Irish buffet, cash bar and 90-minute guided tour of all three branches of the river. Two departure times are available; one before and one after the Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Early cruise departs 10:00 a.m., returning 11:30 a.m. and later cruise departs at 2:00 p.m., returning 3:30 p.m. Both cruises depart from Shoreline’s dock at the southwest corner of Polk Bros Park at Navy Pier. Boarding begins 15 minutes before the departure time. These cruises are on open-air boats, so please dress for the weather. A Shoreline Sightseeing St. Patrick’s Day Lunch Cruise is one of the most popular things to do in Chicago on St. Patrick’s Day, so reserve a spot now! Tickets are $49 for all ages.
