SHORELINE SIGHTSEEING SCHEDULES VENETIAN NIGHT FIREWORKS CRUISES
Two Cruise Options Available for Chicago’s Major Maritime Event
Chicago, IL: Shoreline Sightseeing will offer two Fireworks Cruise options for Venetian Night, Saturday July 25th.
Shoreline’s traditional Lake Michigan Fireworks Cruise will depart from Navy Pier at 8:15 pm for a one-hour Lake Michigan cruise and the 9:00 pm fireworks. Additional departures may be available on-site the night of the event. Tickets are $35. Shoreline is also offering their popular Chicago River Combination Architecture and Fireworks Cruise for Venetian Night. The 75-minute cruise departs Ogden Slip at navy Pier at 7:45 and includes a dramatic nighttime Architecture tour led by a professional and entertaining Shoreline docent, followed by fireworks viewing from Shoreline’s Ogden Slip dock. Tickets are $45.
Now in its 52nd year, Chicago’s Venetian Night is known as one of the biggest events of the summer, featuring a lighted boat parade and a spectacular fireworks display set to a customized music soundtrack. Shoreline’s special Fireworks Cruises give passengers a front–row seat for this dramatic fireworks display. Please note: due to harbor traffic restrictions, the boat parade-of-sail is not visible from these cruises. For information, or tickets, please call 312-222-9328 or visit www.shorelinesightseeing.com
Now in its third generation of family ownership, Shoreline Sightseeing is celebrating their 70th Birthday in 2009. Begun with one power boat giving Lake Michigan tours, the company has grown to become Chicago’s largest boat touring company with nine major touring boats and ten water taxis. They offer Chicago River Architecture Cruises, Lake Michigan Skyline Boat Tours, Fireworks Cruises and a variety of themed cruises for holidays and special events as well as Water Taxis and private charters.
