ARE YOUR CHARTERS PRIVATE?
Yes, every charter is completely
private for you and your guests. Your party will never have to
share a vessel with another charter group.

HOW MANY BOATS DO YOU HAVE AVAILABLE FOR CHARTER?
We have several vessels available,
all of which were custom built for Shoreline or modified to our
specifications for handling charter events: Celebration,
Evening Star, and Bright Star.

We can handle charters for 50 up
to 250 guests.

ARE YOUR CHARTERS ONLY FOR EVENINGS?
Although evening charters are the
most popular, we also offer daytime charters from breakfast to
lunch to afternoon parties.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE MOST POPULAR TYPES OF CHARTERS?
Our charters are ideal for corporate
or private social events. We’ve had company outings, rehearsal
dinners, weddings, Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah parties, formal
parties with dinner and dancing, casual cocktail parties—Just
about any type of party can be accommodated.

I DON'T HAVE A LOT OF TIME TO ORGANIZE AN EVENT—WHAT ASSISTANCE DO YOU OFFER YOUR CHARTER CLIENTS?
Our professional charter and event
staff can handle all the details for you. Just tell us the number
of guests, the theme of the event, and your budget. We will discuss
all the options with you and then set up all the details including
the bar, catering and food service and any extras like music,
a DJ, flowers, etc.

WHEN DO WE BOARD OUR CHARTER?
Boarding time is 15 minutes prior
to the start time of your charter. For example, if your charter
is from 7:00–10:00 pm, you would board at 6:45. There is
no charge for boarding time period.

DO WE HAVE TO USE A CATERER ON YOUR LIST?
Yes. We have chosen our caterering partner based
on great food, superb service and high marks for customer satisfaction.
Our catering partner is also fully licensed and insured for
the duration of all Shoreline Charters. We believe you will be
very pleased with their food and their service.

WHAT ARE OUR DEPARTURE OPTIONS?
Charters leave from our convenient Ogden Slip dock at Navy Pier. see

WHAT TIME ARE THE NAVY PIER FIREWORKS?
Fireworks displays take place
at 9:30 pm on Wednesdays and 10:15 pm on Saturdays throughout
the summer. We recommend a charter from 7:00–10:00 pm on
Wednesdays and 8:00–11:00 pm on Saturdays to allow ample
time for viewing the fireworks from the water.

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON DEPOSITS?
Although we can be somewhat flexible
on deposits, our standard arrangement is 50% of the cost of the
charter at the time of the booking with a signed contract and
the remaining 50% two weeks prior to the event.
