Calling all chocolate lovers, it is time to discover all things sweet and tasty! Navy Pier welcomes The Chicago Fine Chocolate and Dessert Show October 18- 20, 2013. This event lets you indulge yourself in all of the best fine chocolates and desserts. This chocolate wonder-world for the public features fine artisanal chocolate creations from around the world. Over 100 vendors will offer samples for you to taste plus specialty items for purchase!

This chocolate party will showcase world-class chocolatiers while presenting the versatility of chocolate as an exceptional ingredient amongst a variety of cuisines and culinary techniques. Attendees can expect to see live pastry demonstrations by the world famous French Pastry School, along with fun and interesting seminars created by the Fine Chocolate Industry Association. There will be a pavilion highlighting fine chocolate alongside crafted beer, wine & spirits and last but not least the National Confectioners Association will present the Story of Chocolate where you’ll learn the six steps of the creation of chocolate!

This show is very affordable and family-friendly; it is also the perfect place to enjoy your weekend or to get a jump start on your holiday shopping! The Chicago Fine Chocolate and Dessert Show hopes to become one of the elite culinary events in the country – allowing guests to explore artisanal products in the world of chocolate through tastings and educational demonstrations and seminars.

The Chicago Fine Chocolate and Dessert Show will be presented at Navy Pier in the Festival Hall A. You can enter at Taxi Drop Off/Entrance 2 on the north side of Navy Pier. Tickets can be purchased online through the show website and will also be available onsite daily at the Box Office. Advanced ticket pricing ends at midnight, October 17th and “at the door prices” will be reflected online.

$25 Adult General Admission (13 yrs and older), $10 Children General Admission (3-12 yrs)

Consumers who purchase General Admission Tickets prior to Midnight October 17th, 2013 will pay $25 for adult tickets $30 when purchased during show days.

This event is a new way to appreciate the marvels of chocolate and all it can do, because it really is that versatile. It is fun and great for the family, and is the best way to get ahead on grabbing sweet treats for all of the holidays that are coming up!
